The Hong Kong Public Libraries (HKPL) organises the “4.23 World Book Day Creative Competition” in 2023 on the theme “Tasty Reading” in support of the World Book Day on 23 April to promote a reading culture. By integrating reading and creation, the competition aims at encouraging children and young people to broaden and deepen their scope of reading, and leading them to open the door to knowledge, widen their horizons and enrich their life experience through reading.
