Library Materials in Closed Stack

Q1: The Library Catalogue indicates that the status of a searched item is “Closed Stack”. What does it mean?

A1: Library items with the status “Closed Stack” are shelved in stacks located at mobile library offices or the self-service library station office, and they can be made available to readers upon request.

Q2: How to access the library materials in closed stack?

A2: For any item of the mobile libraries, requests can be made at the mobile library stop by providing the item’s title and/or call number. The library staff will then retrieve the requested item from the stack for you to borrow or read at the mobile library stop during their next visit.
