Seminar series on A to Z Guide for Carers 2025
The Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society is committed to providing patients and their carers with comprehensive information including Western medical treatment, emotion management and skills in facing various problems in daily life.
The Hong Kong Public Library and the Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society jointly organise "A to Z Guide for Carers" - a public lecture series for carers. Different experts are invited to explain from various angles the problems that carers often encounter and how they can resolve them, so that they can take better care of themselves as well as their loved ones.
The purpose of the seminar series is to provide information for carers to take care of their patients as well as themselves during this most challenging phase in life. The seminar series will discuss how carers can build up their skills as well as reduce the stress of themselves and their patients. Cancer, heart disease and stroke will be used as examples.
To show care for senior citizens, people with different abilities and other communities in need, the LCSD has introduced the Community Care Series which offers a vast range of recreational, sports and cultural activities and facilities.
