With the theme of “Delight/LIBRARY”, The Hong Kong Public Libraries (HKPL) organises the “Hong Kong Reading Week 2026” from 20 to 26 April, with positive thinking, interpersonal relationship and social harmony as the reading focus.
During the Hong Kong Reading for All Day on 23 April, the HKPL will set up reading locations in various places, including selected LCSD venues, public libraries, community libraries, higher education institutions, primary and secondary schools as well as local groups, including “Joyful Family Reading Carnival” at the East Kowloon Cultural Centre.
Fun day activities will also be available at the Exhibition Gallery of the Hong Kong Central Library and public libraries in respective districts on 25 and 26 April. Various activities allow members of the public to experience the joy of reading from different perspectives.
