Special Opening Hours and Maintenance of Library System

Hong Kong Public Libraries will have special opening hours on 24 December 2025 (Christmas Eve) and will be closed whole day from 25 to 26 December 2025 (Christmas Day and the First Weekday after Christmas Day). Online services, Self-service Library Station services and the real-time loan record update function at smart book return facilities will also be suspended from 0:30 a.m. on 25 December 2025 to 7:00 a.m. on 27 December 2025 for the maintenance work of the library system.
