| Description: | Centred on the theme of “Einstein’s Journey of Growth”, the workshops feature three members of the Story Adventure Team who will invite children into the world of stories to explore the life of Albert Einstein, the Nobel Prize-winning physicist. Starting from Einstein’s childhood when he already displayed an insatiable curiosity, children will discover how he gradually embarked on the path to becoming an outstanding scientist under the influence of his parents and teachers. After the story theatre, members of the Story Adventure Team will work with children to make a simple compass, which can be taken home to further develop an interest in science. The Library will provide activity materials and cleaning items such as paper towels and wet wipes. Participants may bring their own materials and protective/stain-proof items if needed. |

By reviewing the evolution of Hong Kong architecture, we will examine how these changes reflect Hong Kong people’s living habits and needs. It will analyse the impact of urban transformation on architectural demand and discuss strategies for effectively conserving characteristic buildings in a rapidly urbanising environment to safeguard Hong Kong’s collective memory and historical value. |

By examining their historical development in Hong Kong, we will analyse contemporary practices of cultural transmission. The discussion will focus on concrete teaching methods, performance formats, and community engagement used today to preserve and promote these cultural heritages and will explore how these traditional arts adapt to the contemporary cultural environment to ensure their continued viability. |
