Roving Exhibition on "Joyful Reading and Beyond"
Roving Exhibition on “Joyful Reading and Beyond” will be arranged to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Hong Kong Public Libraries (HKPL). The exhibition will be held at Yau Ma Tei Public Library, Hong Kong Central Library, Ping Shan Tin Shui Wai Public Library, Lam Tin Public Library, Chai Wan Public Library, Yuen Chau Kok Public Library and Tiu Keng Leng Public Library from 8 November 2022 to 26 February 2023.
With the four themes of “Beyond Libraries”, “One Library System”, “One Collection for All” and “Kindling Love for Reading”, the exhibition showcases the milestones in the development of HKPL. The conversation between family members from different generations presented in the exhibition serves to unveil the happy memories about Hong Kong Public Libraries.

Exhibition on Documents of Food Culture
Hong Kong, a place of preserving and developing Cantonese cuisine, is renowned as the paradise of delicacy and that people can taste a wide variety of regional cuisines and culinary delights around the world. With stable development of catering service, the flourishing growth in cook book publishing, food column writing and other literature related to food have been accompanied. Showcasing the documents selected from the Documents Collection Campaign, the exhibition revisits the transformation of local Chinese restaurants in the past hundred years in remembrance of old tastes. It also explores how the publishing and media industries have contributed to the food literature.

The Hong Kong Musicians Series: KWOK Dick-yeung: Life of National Chinese Music Composing and Conducting
KWOK Dick-yeung is a renowned national Chinese music composer and conductor in Hong Kong. He composed numerous musical works, including Meng Jiang Nu Crying at the Great Wall, Zheng He Sailing the Western Ocean and The Stone Maiden, as well as conducted various Chinese orchestras, choirs and dance troupes. He made remarkable contribution to the development of national Chinese music in Hong Kong.
The exhibition showcases the music scores, house programmes and photographs, etc. Readers can know more about his compositions and contributions in the field of national Chinese music in Hong Kong.
