Talk on Chinese Classics in 2025
To promote the Chinese Culture and the appreciation of Chinese classical literature among people, a series of talks on classical Chinese with various topics is jointly organised by the Hong Kong Public Libraries, Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the Hok Hoi Library.
Exhibition on Documents of Hong Kong Drama
Hong Kong drama has developed since the post-war period. Since the 1970s, many drama clubs and large-scale performing arts groups have been established, indicating the further growth of local performing arts culture. As some theatre troupes gradually developed and local screenwriting talents joined in, creative drama became more prosperous and received more attention in the 1980s and 1990s. Afterwards, the development of Hong Kong drama became more mature. The exhibition showcases selected documents include playscripts and house programmes, etc., readers can understand more about documents on Hong Kong Drama.
