Description: | Subject Talk Theme: With an ageing population, the public is increasingly concerned about providing a safer and more ideal living space and environment for the elderly. By creating personalised elderly-friendly smart homes through the use of smart home technology and accessible design, the development of gerontechnology has brought new solutions to home safety for the elderly. This subject talk will introduce the prerequisites for the development of elderly-friendly smart homes and common smart home devices, so that participants may gain a deeper understanding of gerontechnology and smart homes.
