Special Opening Hours and Maintenance of Library System

Hong Kong Public Libraries will have special opening hours on 31 December 2025 (New Year's Eve) and will be closed whole day on 1 January 2026 (The First Day of January). Online services, Self-service Library Station services and the real-time loan record update function at smart book return facilities will also be suspended from 0:30 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on 1 January 2026 for the maintenance work of the library system.

Seminar series on A to Z Guide for Carers —— How to be a Good Carer

The Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society aims to provide comprehensive information to patients and caregivers. In addition to western medicine, it covers traditional Chinese medicine, practices for emotional management, guidance on nutrition, advice on financial management, and strategies for coping with various challenges in daily life.

In the captioned series of seminars, experts from various fields are invited to speak on common problems faced by caregivers and the most effective ways to handle them. The aim of the series is to provide caregivers with valuable insights on how to care for their loved ones while also taking good care of themselves.
