Description: | Mr KWOK Chi-piu, a seasoned figure in Hong Kong's travel community, will share his personal experiences from years of hiking along Hong Kong's ancient trails. He will discuss related observations on the surrounding natural ecology, local customs, rural heritage, and historical monuments. In addition to highlighting several well-known ancient trials, for example Tai Po Chung Mei, Wu Kau Tang, Fung Yuen, Sha Lo Tung, and Maoping in Sai Kung, he also touches upon hiking etiquette and practical knowledge such as planning the routes, preparation of equipment, and search of necessary information etc. about the place before setting out. This presentation is expected to spark public interest in local travel, also enhance the sense of belonging in Hong Kong. |
