Description: The speaker will showcase a precious collection of photographs that portrays the reclamation of land, development of streets, construction of public facilities, and various types of buildings including banks, commercial buildings, government offices, and residences of people from different sectors in the Central and Western district over the past century or so. Participants will also be taken on a journey through time to the heyday of the red light district in Shek Tong Tsui West a century ago.
