Description: As one of the earliest developed districts, the Central and Western District is the cradle of education in Hong Kong. There are many prestigious old schools in the district, where every piece of school history and every old school building bear testimony to the history and development of education in Hong Kong.

In this talk, apart from giving a general picture of the preservation of historic school premises in the district, the speakers will also take participants to an in-depth look at several historic schools with the aid of 3D modelling technology, and give an account of the architectural features and current uses of these school premises, as well as the key issues in school building preservation.

Description: With an illustration of Chinese tenement buildings in the Central and Western District, the speaker will talk about the transformation, architectural features and preservation of these buildings in Hong Kong, allowing participants to learn more about the development of tenement buildings and gain a better understanding of the living environment of Hong Kong in the early days.
