| Remarks: | Parental support required for children under the age of 10. Conducted in Cantonese. Free admission by reservation. Reservation for the workshop starts on 30.8.2026 (Sunday) and can be made by calling 3427 3072 or in person at Siu Sai Wan Public Library. Seats are limited. First-come-first-served. The programme will be cancelled when Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal or "extreme conditions" announced by the Government is in force 3 hours before the starting time. |

These workshops facilitate parents and children to gain a deeper understanding of the history of the War of Resistance in Hong Kong.
The event is also one of the activities in the Chinese Culture Promotion Series. The LCSD has long been promoting Chinese history and culture through organising an array of programmes and activities to enable the public to learn more about broad and profound Chinese culture.
