The speaker will share his thoughts after retirement when he returns home to take care of his mother. He gradually realises that retirement is simply a reset of ordinary life, just as school is the top priority for students until their career takes precedence after they graduate. People tend to be facing different situations with different priorities when they retire, and we make different choices as we enter different stages of life. For the speaker, learning is a spiritual pursuit.
