We will introduce from a macro angle how carers should equip themselves to face physical as well as mental pressure. Common serious diseases in Hong Kong including cardiac diseases, strokes and cancer will be used as examples for detailed discussion.
Topic 1: Heart diseases and strokes —— how to prevent, treat and care
Topic 2: How carers can cope with immense pressure —— using carers of cancer patients and stroke patients as examples
Topic 3: How Medical Social Workers can provide assistance to patients and carers in different situations
