Remarks: | With an ageing population in Hong Kong, there is a pressing need to promote exercise among the silver-haired group. Not only can exercise help the elderly build muscles and strengthen their bodies, it can also help slow down degenerative conditions and prevent diseases associated with ageing. In this talk, the speaker will introduce different types of exercise that are suitable for the silver-haired, demonstrate some simple stretching exercises and briefly explain the importance of exercise, so as to promote a healthy lifestyle among the elderly, to help them live longer, and to encourage them to enjoy the fun of exercise. Conducted in Cantonese. Admission Free by Registration. |
