To promote literary creation and cultivate an interest in Chinese creative writing among young people.
Content and Form:

The workshops will be conducted in Cantonese.

Veteran editors or authors will explain the concept of literary creation in different genres, share their experience in literary creation and discuss with participants the Chinese original works submitted by them.

The quota for each workshop is 20.
Submission of Personal Chinese Works:
- To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Public Libraries, applicants may submit their works, whether published or not, on the theme of “Sixty”.
- The works submitted must be original works of the applicants in not more than 1,000 words in Chinese.
Programme Details and Points to Note:

Each form is for application for one workshop only. Applicants who wish to apply for more than one workshop should use a separate form for each application.

As the genres discussed in the three workshops differ, applicants are required to submit their Chinese original works in the same genre as the selected workshop.

Applicants are advised to retain copies of their works. Whether the application is successful or not, all submitted scripts will not be returned.

Shortlisted applicants will be notified by the organisers prior to the date of each workshop. Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified individually.

An attendance certificate will be issued to participants who attain the required attendance rate, normally on the last day of each workshop.
