Hong Kong Reading Week 2025 –REadCONNECT Family Activities Creative Book Making Workshops

| Description: | The Creative Book Making Workshop enable participants to make use of the materials provided to make their own creative booklets. Photographs of landmark buildings in Hong Kong will be provided together with various arts and crafts materials, where children will take lead to make their own creations. 1.Conducted in Cantonese 2. Limited Seats. Admission is based on a first come, first served basis. |

“Understanding Pandas” – Workshop with STEM Sir (Secondary School Group)

| Description: | STEM Sir will discuss with secondary school students how large-scale removal of bamboo forests, land development, destruction of natural environment, global warming, frequent earthquakes pose a threat to the habitats of giant pandas. STEM Sir will also teach students how to make a "Seismograph." and recommend related books. 1.The workshop will be conducted in Cantonese.
