To arouse children's interest in Hong Kong's military history through storytelling workshop.
The Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society aims to provide patients and carers with comprehensive information — apart from western medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, how to manage emotions, nutrition, financial management and how to deal with various problems in daily life, are also covered.
In the captioned series of seminars, experts on all fronts are invited to speak on common problems faced by carers and how best to handle them. It is hoped that through the series of seminars, carers will gain insight in how best to take care of their loved ones as well as how to take good care of themselves at the same time.
The Hong Kong Central Library opened in 2001 and launched the Documents Collection Campaign and Hong Kong Music Collection Campaign in the same year. The two campaigns aim to arouse public awareness of the preservation of local literary documents and promote research in local culture. With the ardent support from scholars, authors, musicians and the general public in the past two decades, quite a number of valuable documents have been collected. The subject talk aims to introduce the work process, collectibles received and give readers a better understanding of the accomplishments of the two campaigns over the years.
These workshops provide a chance for parents and children to learn about the armaments that related to the military history of Hong Kong by joining hands to make a paper model.
The public lectures aim to enhance the public's understanding of the military history and the history of the coastal defence of Hong Kong.
