Through a touch of the overwhelming emotions of the authors, will participants draw some inspiration from those precious moments?
Authors from a diverse variety of genres are cordially invited to conduct sharing sessions at libraries throughout the city, sharing their invaluable experience on reading and writing from their paths of growth. The delightful sharing can definitely help participants to grasp insights into how books can nourish souls and widen readers’ horizons.
Over the past century, as a melting pot of Chinese and Western cultures, Hong Kong has become a cosmopolitan city, a unique and colorful place. Looking at Hong Kong’s culture, one can discover the historical development of this city, the changes in interpersonal relationship and daily life, as well as the Chinese culture behind that shaped this city. Nineteen local writers will share their observation and experience on the characteristics of Hong Kong’s culture, so as to give participants a better understanding of our home town.
