Special Opening Hours and Maintenance of Library System

Hong Kong Public Libraries will have special opening hours on 24 December 2025 (Christmas Eve) and will be closed whole day from 25 to 26 December 2025 (Christmas Day and the First Weekday after Christmas Day). Online services, Self-service Library Station services and the real-time loan record update function at smart book return facilities will also be suspended from 0:30 a.m. on 25 December 2025 to 7:00 a.m. on 27 December 2025 for the maintenance work of the library system.

Remarks: • The address of The Hong Kong Sha Tau Kok Anti-war Memorial Hall is No.3 Sha Tau Kok Road - Shek Chung Au, Sha Tau Kok (Non-Frontier Closed Area).
• Target Participants: General public (Participants aged below 15 is required to be accompanied by an adult aged over 18.
• Enrolment: Reservation may be made from 12:00 noon, 11.11.2024 (Monday) onwards by submitting the completed application form to Sheung Shui Public Library. Application deadline will be on 27.11.2024 (Wednesday).
• Participants are required to fill in an application form and produce proof of identity document for verification during reservation and/or when activity begins.
• Conducted in Cantonese and free of charge, available on a first-come-first-served basis.
