2009 Recommended Websites

Hong Kong Public Libraries website (www.hkpl.gov.hk ) was selected as one of the recommended websites in the "2009 Meritorious Websites" contest for its one-stop portal in accessing a wide-range of online library services and electronic resources in supporting life-long learning and the spirit of reading.

Organized by the Television and Entertainment Licensing Authority and co-organized by the Committee on Home-School Co-operation, Hong Kong Internet Service Providers Association and the Radio Television Hong Kong, the contest is held annually to encourage young people to surf smartly by browsing healthy websites, and to commend those Internet content providers for creating healthy websites for children and young people.
