Special Opening Hours and Maintenance of Library System (April 2023)

Hong Kong Public Libraries will have special opening hours on 5 April 2023 (Ching Ming Festival), 8 April (The Day Following Good Friday) and 10 April (Easter Monday) and will be closed whole day on 7 April (Good Friday). All online services and Self-service Library Station services will be suspended for the maintenance work of the library system. Please refer here for details.

The self-service library station located at Tsuen Nam Road, Tai Wai will suspend services from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on 23 September 2021 (Thursday) to facilitate regular inspection and maintenance work at the venue.  We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

During the service suspension period, readers are welcome to use other public libraries to borrow or return library materials, or to use the book drop services to return library materials beyond service hours.  They may also renew library materials by telephoning 2698 0002 or 2827 2833, or via www.hkpl.gov.hk.
