Creativity and Innovation Resource Centre
The Creativity and Innovation Resource Centre is a joint project of the Hong Kong Public Libraries of Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the Creative Initiatives Foundation. The Centre was opened to the general public on 27 November 2003.
The Creativity and Innovation Resource Centre located at the 10/F of City Hall Public Library, has an area of about 50m2 . The Centre focuses on reference materials relating to creativity and innovation and provides two Internet workstations, one Library Catalogue workstation and over 20 seats for readers to make use of its collection.
The Centre now contains more than 1,800 books and journals in Chinese and English covering the following subjects:
Early childhood development, educational leadership, learning theory, multiple intelligence, motivation, cooperative learning, gifted & talented education
Creative thinking, critical thinking, creative problem solving, divergent thinking, brainstorming, group creativity, stimulating creativity, creativity research, theories of creativity
Organizational development, team building, management of innovation, creative leadership, product development, paradigm shifts
Creative people and creative processes in the arts
The Centre is specially for anyone interested in learning more about creativity, enhancing his or her own creative abilities, teaching creative problem solving skills to others, managing change or creating the future. The targeted users of the collection are people from the business community, parents, teachers, school administrators and students.
Members of the public are welcome to search the Centre's Library Catalogue for any specific titles or topics of interest.
