BookData Online is an online bibliographic search database which contains over 35 million English-language titles published in the U.K., the U.S., Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, including in-print and forthcoming titles as well as out-of-print records for access by users. Full bibliographic data is provided, and some records even contain descriptive contents and book cover images.

Business Source Complete Download User Guide

It is a scholarly business database which covers full-text journals and periodicals on marketing, management, economy, finance, accounting and other business subjects, and includes indexes and abstracts of the most important scholarly business journals dated back to 1886. In addition, there are full text of non-journal contents including financial data, books, monographs, major reference works, conference proceedings, case studies, investment research reports, industry reports, market research reports, country reports, company profiles, SWOT analysis and faculty seminars (video).

It offers access to full-text masters' theses from hundreds of academic institutions in the Mainland dating back to 1984. The subjects covered include literature, history, philosophy, politics, military affairs, law, education and sociology, economics and management.

 

 

China Standards Document Database Download User Guide

The database contains over 100 000 full-text documents on Chinese standards, including national and industry standards, promulgated by the relevant state authorities of China. Apart from using different criteria, such as standard title, standard number, issuing authority, date of issue and key word for searching, users may also browse the required information by the Chinese Classification for Standards (CCS) and the International Classification for Standards (ICS). Bibliographic information of standards from other countries is also available for searching.

 

 

Chinese Companies and Products Database (CECDB) (Traditional Chinese Version) Download User Guide

The CECDB was initially developed in 1988. It contains information on nearly 160 000 Mainland enterprises at national scale or above across 96 trades. With a wealth of information on company profiles, products, registered capital, number of staff members, means of contact, websites, etc., the database serves as a quick reference for businesses to know the China market. The HKPL has subscribed to the Traditional Chinese version of the database for retrieval of information by the users.
