Booking Arrangement for Hiring Extension Activities Rooms at Branch Libraries

 
  1. The Extension Activities Rooms are to be only hired for cultural activities.
  2. The Extension Activities Rooms are to be hired during the library opening hours only.
  3. The Hirer shall hire the Extension Activities Room for a minimum of 2 consecutive hours for each booking.
  4. Applications are to be made within 6 weeks to 3 months prior to the date of the function.
  5. The application form should be completed and returned to the library where the Extension Activities Room is to be booked for use.
  6. Upon the Librarian's acceptance of the booking, the Hirer shall pay the hire charges in full at least seven working days prior to the date of the function, and shall also submit copies of the relevant licences and permits for the library's record.
  7. The Hirer will be responsible for ensuring that all persons using the room hired by him observe and comply with the Terms and Conditions of Hire of the Hong Kong Public Libraries Extension Activities Room.
  8. The Librarian may reject applications which are improperly or inadequately completed. The Hirer has to provide documentary proof such as certificate of registration or incorporation, business registration certificate, or constitutions or articles of association whichever applicable for inspection.
