- Internet & Digital Service Workstation
The Hong Kong Public Libraries provides over 1,200 Internet & Digital Service (IDS) workstations and Kid’s Internet & Digital Service (KIDS) workstations in its static libraries to enable the public to
- access the multimedia and digitized resources, Library Catalogue, e-books, and online databases;
- browse the Internet.
Registered borrowers can book to use the IDS and KIDS workstations through the 24 hours online booking system 7 days in advance with their library account. Some of the workstations are also available for booking by telephone or in person. Please check out the location, opening hours and enquiry number of branch libraries here.
Conditions of Use of Computer Facilities
- Wireless Internet Access
Free wireless Internet access (SSID: “Wi-Fi.HK”) provided by the Hong Kong Government Wi-Fi Service is available at all static public libraries.
