Special Library Opening Hours

Hong Kong Public Libraries will have special opening hours on 16 February 2026 (Lunar New Year’s Eve) and will be closed whole day from 17 to 19 February 2026 (The First to Third Day of Lunar New Year). All online services and Self-service Library Station services will also be suspended from 0:30 a.m. on 17 February 2026 to 11:59 p.m. on 19 February 2026 for the maintenance work of the library system.

Improvement Works of Multimedia Library and Computer & Information Centre of Tsing Yi Public Library

To enhance the library facilities and environment, improvement works will be carried out in phrases at Multimedia Library and Computer & Information Centre of Tsing Yi Public Library starting from 8 September 2025 (Monday) and the works will last for approximately 6 months.

During this period, the concerned areas will be cordoned off in phrases for maintaining limited services. The contractor will try to minimise noise or other nuisance arising from the works. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
