Hong Kong Oral History Resources is the web-based extension of the Hong Kong Oral History Collection of the Hong Kong Central Library.

The resources introduced cover a wide range of topics on Hong Kong’s past and present. It serves a one-stop access for members of public to obtain useful information available in the library collections and other sources.

We hope that, by getting to know these resources about the oral histories and life stories of our fellow citizens, members of public will have a better appreciation of Hong Kong’s historical and cultural heritage, the unity and diversity of our society and its people, and the role oral history can play in preserving our heritage and in bringing about better understanding among different groups in society.
