許進雄
世新大學中文系教授。1974年獲得多倫多大學東亞系博士學位後，在東亞系兼職授課，亦曾在臺灣大學中文系教授中國文字學、古代社會與文物等課程。被安陽博物館甲骨展覽廳評為「甲骨學最有貢獻的二十五名學者之一」。著有《甲骨上鑽鑿形態的研究》、《簡明中國文字學》、《許進雄古文字論文集》、《博物館裡的文字學家》、《字字有來頭》系列著作等。
《字字有來頭 文字學家的殷墟筆記》系列共有六冊，其核心概念是以甲骨文字分析古代創字時的想法，經由研究字的演變過程，以推敲古代文化、生活習慣、社會制度。其中《日常生活篇Ⅰ食與衣》透過分析古文字，以了解古代的煮食方法與器具、飲食禮儀與器具以及服制與飾物。

Rui Peng is an associate professor at the National University of Singapore. He is interested in the diachronic development of complex and schematic constructions of Chinese grammatical items, researching on modern Chinese grammar, functional linguistics, Chinese historical syntax and grammaticalistion theory.
