Introduction: |
This special collection contains the books, periodicals and documents held by the late Hong Kong author Mr Lo Kam (1924-1995). “Lo Kam” was the most famous pen name of Mr LEUNG Tol, a well-known expert in anecdotes. The collection comprises mainly books and periodicals relating to the history, culture and social customs of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao; and clippings of Mr Lo Kam’s newspaper articles published in Hong Kong and Macao from the 1970s to 1990s. Apart from anecdotes of Hong Kong and Macao, these newspaper clippings touched on the prevailing social situations. |
