During the pandemic in Hong Kong, many vital social support services and respite options for elderly were unavailable, resulting in immense pressure on home-bound and seriously ill elderly patients, as well as their carers. The problem is compounded if the patient was sent to isolation facilities. Are their cries for help understood and adequate support provided to them?
