"LeaveHomeSafe" QR codes are displayed at entrance of libraries and SSR for patrons to scan and record their visit. Except for exempted persons, all persons are required to use the "LeaveHomeSafe" mobile application (the App) to scan the venue QR code before they are allowed to enter the libraries and SSR. Persons who are aged below 12 or aged 65 or above, and those with disabilities that render use of the App difficult will be exempted from the requirement of using the App when they enter the libraries and SSR. Exemptions will also be granted to individual persons depending on actual circumstances. All exempted persons are required to complete a record form to register their names, the first four digits or letters of their identification documents, their contact numbers and the date and time of their visits. They are also required to present relevant identification documents for verification at the request of the library staff during registration. We also encourage the exempted persons to use the App as far as possible to save time (Details). In accordance with the Prevention and Control of Disease (Vaccine Pass) Regulation (Cap. 599L) and relevant requirements of administrative instructions, all persons entering or remaining in the libraries and their SSR must comply with the requirements of the Vaccine Pass pertinent to premises subject to passive checking of Vaccine Pass. Details on the Vaccine Pass requirements can be found at https://www.coronavirus.gov.hk/eng/vaccine-pass.html.
The LCSD will pay close attention to the latest development of the pandemic and review or revise the above reopening arrangements in due course, and adjust relevant preventive measures as and when necessary.
