City Hall Public Library Improvement Project

To enhance the quality of library facilities, the City Hall Public Library will undergo phased facility improvement works starting from 5 March 2026 (Thursday).

During the construction period, some facilities will undergo the following changes:

• Certain sections of the Children's Library located on the second floor of City Hall High Block will be temporary closed.
• The existing book drop area outside the G/F of City Hall High Block will be temporarily relocated to the space near the library notice board on the G/F.

The library’s other  facilities and services will continue to operate as usual. We will make every effort to minimise the noise and disturbance caused by the construction work. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
