Public libraries online services make use of certificates issued by the Hongkong Post to encrypt data during network transmission to protect your personal data. Each of the e-Certs issued by Hongkong Post bears a digital signature supported by a Hongkong Post CA root certificate that proves the authenticity of the e-Cert. To ensure the network security in using online services, Hongkong Post will regularly renew the e-Certs they issued. Effective from 5 Nov 2010, the new e-Certs are adopted to the library online system. Readers please configure your browser to recognize the new certificates issued by the Hongkong Post in order to use the library online services.

Please visit the following page of Hongkong Post(http://www.hongkongpost.gov.hk/product/download/root/index.html) or click here to download and install the Hongkong Post CA root certificates (Hongkong Post e-Cert CA 1-10) as illustrated.
