Remarks:

• The talk will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free, but prior reservation is required.
• Attendance is restricted to 105 persons on a first-come-first-served basis. No walk-ins will be accepted.
• Reservations for the talk may be made:
1) Between 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the day of talk by phone at 2921 2508 or in person at the Customer Service Counter (Counter No. 1) of Adult Library, 3/F, City Hall Public Library in person;
2) From 1:30 p.m. on the day of talk in person at the registration counter outside the Extension Activities Room, 8/F, City Hall Public Library.
Places will be open to participants on an individual basis. First come, first served. No walk-ins will be accepted.
• The quota for admission, registration and admission arrangements will be updated from time to time. Please follow the instructions of the venue staff.
• The talk will be cancelled if Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is in force 3 hours before the starting time of the talk.


To promote the Chinese Culture and the appreciation of Chinese classical literature among people, a series of talks on classical Chinese with various topics is jointly organised by Hong Kong Public Libraries, Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the Hok Hoi Library.
