All Hong Kong Public Libraries will be reopened

With effect from 19 April (Tuesday), students’ study rooms of the Hong Kong Public Libraries will be reopened. With effect from 21 April (Thursday), all public libraries and mobile libraries will resume services. In accordance with the Government's latest Vaccine Pass requirements, Vaccine Pass arrangement will be implemented on the same dates, other precautionary measures include limiting the number of people entering the library and users are required to scan the "LeaveHomeSafe" QR code or register their names, contact number and the date and time of the visit before admission for necessary contact tracing if a confirmed case is found. For details of service resumption, opening hours and admission arrangement, please refer to Details.

Calculation of overdue fines will be resumed from 5 May for late return of library items. Readers are advised to renew their borrowed items on time or return the overdue items as soon as possible in order not to incur overdue fines.

Due to urgent maintenance of mobile library van, the following mobile library stops were suspended.  We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. The service point to be affected are as follows:
