Latest arrangements on services of Hong Kong Public Libraries

To tie in with the Government’s latest anti-epidemic measures, members of the public must comply with the requirements of the Vaccine Pass and are required to scan the "LeaveHomeSafe" QR code or register their names, contact number and the date and time of the visit before admission for necessary contact tracing if a confirmed case is found. For details of service resumption, opening hours and admission arrangement, please refer to the Details.

Calculation of overdue fines has been resumed from 5 May for late return of library items. Readers are advised to renew their borrowed items on time or return the overdue items as soon as possible in order not to incur overdue fines.

Suspension of Mobile Library Services


09.09.2019

The mobile library services provided by Mobile Library 12 at Wah Sum Estate, Fanling will be suspended from 1.10.2019. People are welcome to use the nearby Fanling South Public Library for library services. The opening hours are 9:00am to 7:00pm from Tuesday to Friday; 9:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday and Sunday; and 9:00am to 1:00pm on public holidays.

     Members of the public are also welcome to use other public libraries. They may also renew library materials by telephoning 2698 0002 or 2827 2833, or via the Internet at www.hkpl.gov.hk.
