The 13th Hong Kong Literature Festival - Pre-festival Competition: “Childhood Memories” Chinese Writing Competition

To promote literary creation and reading, the Hong Kong Public Libraries (HKPL) of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department will organise the 13th Hong Kong Literature Festival from 22 June to 12 July 2020. Members of the public are welcome to participate in the pre-festival Chinese writing competition titled “Childhood Memories”. Participants are required to write an essay in CHINESE for not more than 2000 words (including punctuation) and may assign a title to their essays. The entry should be about their lives, experiences and emotions in childhood in the form of a descriptive, narrative or expressive work. All entries will be judged on their literariness, forcefulness and emotional expressiveness.
