All Hong Kong Public Libraries will resume normal opening hours

With effect from 19 April (Monday), all public libraries will resume normal opening hours. Mobile libraries (except mobile library van or service points that are currently undergoing maintenance work) will also resume service from the same day. To help ensure public safety, libraries will continue to implement precautionary measures (including users are required to scan the "LeaveHomeSafe" QR code or register their names, contact number and the date and time of the visit before admission), and limit the number of readers entering the library to avoid gathering and foster social distancing. Please refer to the Details.

Mobile libraries shall resume the calculation of overdue fines with effect from 3 May. Readers are advised to renew their borrowed items on time or return the overdue items as soon as possible in order not to incur overdue fines.
