Awards for Creative Writing in Chinese in 2020

The Awards for Creative Writing in Chinese was launched by the Public Libraries in 1979 and has been organised bi-annually since 1992. It aims to enhance public appreciation of and interest in Chinese literary writing. The Awards is divided into six categories, including Poetry, Essays, Fictions, Literary Criticism, Children's Stories and Children's Picture Stories.

Prizes
There will be 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize and 5 Merit Prizes in each catagory:
(Each of the award winners will receive a certificate of the award as a kind of recognition.)

(For entries send by registered post, the post mark date on the envelope will be regarded as the date of submission. For entries submitted by hand, submission will be accepted only during opening hours of Fa Yuen Street Public Library. Underpaid mail or late submission will not be accepted.)
