With the coming of the Hong Kong 2009 East Asian Games this December, a roving exhibition on the East Asian Games will be held from June to December in 28 public libraries to enhance public's knowledge of and participation in the Games. Highlights of the exhibition include the origin of the East Asian Games, bidding and organization of the Hong Kong 2009 East Asian Games, various events as well as mascots of the Games.
A book display titled 'Get into the 2009 East Asian Games' will also be presented in the public libraries from June to December, showcasing books on the sports of the Games. A resource guide introducing library materials on different sports events will also be available for distribution in the public libraries later.
