The Middle Class in Hong Kong
Researchers of the middle class are likely to carry out their analysis at the national level. Very rarely would they pay any attention to the situation of the middle class in their immediate ¢w¢w quite often, meaning at the city level ¢w¢w socio-economic environment. This talk is an attempt to re-examine the changing situation of Hong Kong's middle class in the context of globalization and regional integration.
