Earlier on 22 February, the Hong Kong Public Libraries and the Sha Tin District Council jointly presented 'Enjoy Reading in Sha Tin' Carnival at the Sha Tin Town Hall Plaza. Aimed at enhancing collaboration between public libraries and community organizations, promoting public library services as well as encouraging reading and lifelong learning among the public, the carnival attracted about two thousands visitors who enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon with a variety of progammes such as storytelling, performances, workshops, games and a recommended book display.
