The history of education in Hong Kong is fascinating the way in which it can reflect the history of Hong Kong itself. The exhibition shows you the history and development of teacher education in Hong Kong from the pre-colonial times through to the recent past, the pictures of artifacts, and the future learning and teaching.

Get into the Hong Kong 2009 East Asian Games with HKPL

With the coming of the Hong Kong 2009 East Asian Games this December, a roving exhibition on the East Asian Games will be held from June to December in 28 public libraries to enhance public’s knowledge of and participation in the Games. Highlights of the exhibition include the origin of the East Asian Games, bidding and organization of the Hong Kong 2009 East Asian Games, various events of the Games as well as the mascots.
