Documents Collection Campaign Collection
The Documents Collection Campaign, launched by the Hong Kong Central
Library in 2001 aims to collect documents on Hong Kong and Chinese arts
and literature for reference and research by members of the public. This
collection includes rare books and old periodicals, celebrities' correspondences,
manuscripts, maps and photographs, old documents of folk customs. Designated
collection codes are given to the larger donations from well-known scholars
and Hong Kong literary authors. They are "Liu Ching-chih Collection",
"Liu Yi-chang Collection" and "Gao Lu Collection".
Members of public are welcome to search the Library's Online
Public Access Catalogue for any specific titles of the library
stock.
The above collection is available for public use in the Hong Kong Literature
Room of the Hong Kong Central Library (8/F) during library opening hours.
