International Labour Organization (ILO)

Coverage: New English publications published by ILO including serials, research reports, manuals and international standards.

The International Labour Organization (ILO) was founded in 1919 and subsequently became a specialised agency associated with the United Nations in 1946. The ILO sets international labour standards, provides technical co-operation services, produces research and publications on social and labour matter.

The Library has been designated the depository library of the ILO since November 1993. Under the programme, some 1000 items have been deposited, including serials, research studies, manuals, statistics and reports on labour laws and regulations, industrial relations, conditions of service and occupational safety.
