The Asian Development Bank is a development finance institution established by an inter-governmental agreement to foster economic growth and co-operation in Asia and the Pacific. Its depository collection, started in January 1994, now comprises some 6,000 items.

Readers who are concerned about the economic outlook of Asia will probably find the ADB serials "Asian Development Outlook" and "Key Indicators of Developing Asian and Pacific Countries" useful references.
